Nothing beats a good Thursday right? I mean, it’s the day before Friday, so you’re super motivated to get shit done so you can have an easy Friday. Am I making any sense? Probably not, but that’s nothing new. Rambling and saying things out of context has been typical lately.
For example, the other day we were driving around and went to turn down this street and it was packed with cars on both sides which made the road super narrow and I shouted out “OMG slim pickin’s!” SO random and the look on Zac’s face was pretty damn good. It doesn’t make sense now, but at the time I thought it was an appropriate term to use. LOLZ, that’s me.
ANYWAYS, today I wanted to share a few things I’ve been obsessed with and wearing on repeat lately.
First up are some new products from Estee Edit. This line just came out this year and it’s a collaboration between Estee Lauder and Sephora that appeals to younger consumers. I use Double Wear like it’s nobodies business, but really when I think of Estee Lauder I think of old people. I have no idea why, so really this collab is genius to appeal to more younger consumers.
This pore vanishing stick is just my all time fave. I’ve been using it as a primer to blur my pores and mattify my oily skin and it works sooooo good!
I’m usually not a lipstick gal, but I like trying new things and switching it up. I really love this lipstick in the color “nude scene”! It’s the most gorgeous brownish/purple, perfect for Fall or a dramatic lip year round!
Another product I love from the line is the Beam Team Hydrate + Glow. I love the moisturizer because it’s give you a little shimmer. I use it sometimes under my foundation, or sometimes on it’s own, especially for pool days for nice little glow. It also comes with a highlighter in the lid to concentrate on spots like your cheekbones.
This Flash Illuminator in the color “spotlight” is also GORGEOUS when applied (the top one swatched on my hand)! I rotate between this and the Beam Team Hydrate for under my foundation, depending on how much glow I want. This one is definitely more pigmented than the Beam Team and I also love it for no make days when I still want to look alive lol. If I don’t use it under foundation, I’ll apply it to the bridge of my nose and cupids bow as a highlighter.
SCRUNCHIES
Remember wearing these when you were a kid? Yup, me too, and I’m obsessed with them all over again! I hate how regular hair ties crease your hair and are either too tight or too loose. I also feel like I’m ripping my hair out every time I take it out. But with scrunchies, they are so soft and gentle on my hair, oh and they make good bracelets too 🙂
Who else buys cheap AF sunnies?!? I don’t know what it is but I can’t fork out hundreds of dollars on sunglasses when I can get cheap ones that look the exact same! Especially when it comes to trendy sunnies, cheap it is because I’ll probably get sick of them in like a month.
Ok this was a little longer than expected but I hope you guys liked this kind of post! Tell me what you’d like to see next! And PS, I have something dreamy for you tomorrow 🙂
Estee Edit Products c/o Influenster, but my opinions on them are real AF.
